WNYU 89.1 FM Radio – Staff Reporter

September 2020 - Present

As a staff reporter with WNYU's flagship news show, The Rundown, I cover both local and national stories pertinent to NYU and the surrounding New York metropolitan area. This includes pitching, researching, scripting, taping, editing, and producing each piece individually prior to airing. This position has afforded me the opportunity to familiarize myself with studio equipment and FM radio production, as well as cultivate the skill of productive and effective participation in pitch meetings.

Washington Square Local – Staff Writer

February 2021 - Present

As a Staff Writer with Washington Square Local, NYU's one and only satirical news site, I've had the pleasure of writing headlines and short articles for our website and Instagram, @washingtonsquarelocal. The position is competitive, with dozens of applicants each semester and generally only about two or three new spots available. I've enjoyed getting accustomed to the style of a writer's room and bouncing ideas off of fellow writers in order to curate a variety of coverage.
